Er, if your dentist is giving her cocaine, report him. I'm guessing you mean novocaine or lidnocaine which are pharmaceutical substitutes. Only a small amount is given, though it will get into the blood streat. Tell your dentist what medication she is on, it will probably be fine, but he should know before he gives her anything else.

Do you think I could ask for that when I go to get my filling put in?

If you read the medical advice on the anti histamine packaging or speak to your chemist or even the dentist in advance they'll be able to advise you.

Is your dentist a drug dealer, because I don't think any reputable dentist is going to be giving their patients cocaine. Cocaine is illegal. You better call the office again and ask them what medicine she will be given for pain and or numbing.

Well you should call the dentist and ask about Novocaine use with antihistamines. They may ask you to not give her some the day of treatment.

They give you coke at the dentist now? I don't think coke is an anti-histamine, maybe you should ask your dentist when you get there.

You mean lidocaine or carbocaine?? It depends on what the rash is from....Is she taking any medications? Has she been exposed to outdoor allergens (poison oak), or....????? You should ask the dentist if she should have her dental work done.

Not cocaine, but maybe novicane. It shouldn't have any affect, but the dentist should know.
