Well.. first of all it's how he's dressed. If he appeals to us in that aspect then we move on to .. oh, let's say his smile.
Nice teeth and good smile are almost always a must. Then we look at the eyes or we move our eyes to his butt. Eyes can tell us of his sincerity. They aren't called the windows to the soul for nothing. As for the butt... must look firm. That's a sign of ability. If it's flabby then he's a couch potato that just wants another mother to take care of him. If it's almost nonexistent then he's a hard worker because he worked it off (LOL). If it's high and tight then he's athletic and we have to either be able to keep up or move along.
His arms therefore must also be strong. We want a man who we can cuddle up with. Now his arms must not be too big because he might crush a woman. If they are too thin then there probably isn't much strength to even get a good hand shake from. Somewhere in between would be nice. Kind of firm kind of soft. Not mushy soft like a big marshmallow or nothing like that. Just arms that are gentle yet strong.
Just a few things I look for anyways ;-)

Usually something like "he's cute" "ugh not cute" "what's he doing?" " I wonder what he's thinking?" .. it's probably along the same lines of what girls think that guys are thinking about them... no one knows. You can't go off of what one person says about males or females because then you are saying that just because what a few people tell you happens to be what everyone is thinking, and not everyone sits on yahoo answers to try and figure out what is going on with someone. If you are interested in some girl and that's the reason you're asking this question you should probably go and ask her yourself or tell her how you feel about her, once it's out there it's better than questioning yourself what could or will never be.
