Obviously it is a genetic quality in a man to be attracted to big butts. Big butts in woman are a more common trait than in men. Therefore you can consider it a feminine quality. Strong feminine traits are bound to be attractive to the opposite sex. You can think that on a subconscious level to a man it represents good health and good genetics. Also that a woman with a big butt might be better suited to bare children along with big hips.
