I think it's all bulls**t. There is scientific evidence that indicates that sexual preference isn't chosen. If it were chosen, do you think that so many gay teens would make suicide attempts, or that gays would willingly go through the bulls**t they're forced to endure?
A lot of these so-called Christians who are trying to "save" the gays and lesbians from their lives of sin aren't doing so for altruistic reasons. Christianity has been used to excuse all sorts of social ills, such as slavery, the oppression of women, homophobia, and anti-Semitism. There are actually parts of the Bible that recommend putting homosexuals to death. However, if I remember correctly, there is also a part of the Bible that forbids wearing gold jewelry. If you tune in to TBN or any other religious nutcase channel, you will definitely see so-called Christians wearing gold! A lot of so-called Christians latch onto the parts of the Bible that appeal to them and ignore the ones that don't. That's why they so conveniently forget the passage in which Jesus says, "He who has not sinned shall cast the first stone."
