I wasn't going to answer this one until I read Kaka's response.
Kaka; you don't know what you are talking about. Almost all children who get molested are little girls who get molested by a step father, uncle, or older cousin. If you really understood who is doing the molesting in our society, you would rethink your opinion... but understanding is probably not your strongest attribute.

I have been around three couples (gay) who raised children in a house with open homosexual activity and cheating partners. What stood out the most was how the child felt about the "couple" and themselves. There was anger and a sense of "I'm different from the rest of my friends. Questions like the one posted do not take into account which is worse for the child. A negative attitude granted but it is harsh reality. It is better to be in a foster home or with a male/female couple then be with a gay couple.

Allow gay adoption. Kids will always be best in a loving family, regardless of the family type, number or style. That should be the only criteria: If the foster home consists of caring, loving people who respect one another and the kid.

I personally wouldn't want a child being passed around in foster care because that can do some serious damage to them psychologically..I'd rather a child live in a permanent home with a loving family even if it meant that they would be gay...i have no problem with homosexuals so it doesn't matter to me.

Obviously let gay couples adopt.
IMHO, any gay couple or gay individual who is willing to jump through the necessary hoops to adopt a child and who is willing to face the extra challenges they will have raising a child in a world that can be very cruel to them... if they went through all that trouble, they will probably be very loving and thoughtful parents, simply because they WANTED the child that much.

Allow gay couples to adopt. Children should be in a place in which they are wanted, cared for and loved. Some of my gay friends have children and they provide wonderful, warm, loving homes for their children. I don't buy the argument that it is unbalanced because there is no presence of the opposite gender because I see that couples make sure they have role models of the opposite of their gender from their families or friends.

Allow gay adoption. I would rather see kids brought up in a loving environment, regardless of the family type.

Allow gay couples to adopt. I'd like to see anybody who is prejudiced against homosexuals to provide a single scientific study which states that they are worse parents.

Allow PEOPLE to adopt, what is the difference if you have One Mother and Father or Two Mothers and so Forth. as long as the child is not being harmed and has the constant attention and affection that they need and deserve, i see no problem. half the children who die violent deaths had One mother and One father
