It depends on your taste honey.. but I would get a white comforter add the light blue sheets. Throw in a bunch of light blue and brown pillows in differents designs, patterns, etc... and add and brown throw or folded up duvet to the end of the bed. The best of both worlds a bit warm and bit refreshing.

INSTEAD OF THE BROWN COMFORTER USE THE WHITE. IT WILL BRIGHTEN THE ROOM!!

Ohh this will be fun. You can get away with a lot of colors. You can do all shades of blue from baby blue to navy to turquoise, white, some greens will look pretty, different shades of pink or lavender, and black just to name a few.
It all depends on what style or theme you might be going for. If your going for a retreat type theme you can do soft or pastel colors. If you want to do a beach theme different shades of greens or blue prints will look nice.
I think it would be best to choose a style or theme and go from there.
Good Luck and have fun with it.

Maybe a darker shade of blue if you want to stay in that same color range... But otherwise try something pastel and soft to go with the light tint of blue.

Light blue walls. Shades of sunny yellow go good with blue. Also some florals or stripes in various shades of your favorite colors. Use colors of whatever makes you feel good!
