A deist.

A deist is someone who believe in a higher power, but an agnostic is someone who doesn't know, or think it's important/relevant to know if there is or is not a higher power.

I would call them free thinkers. The vision of God is not universal. Maybe their vision of god is totally different than what is taught in organized religion.

The termonology would be theism.

Theism- Belief in the existence of a god or gods, esp. belief in a personal God as creator and ruler of the world.
