Because whether we admit it to ourselves or to them, we love them because they're idiots, and they are programmed completely differently from them. I personally would get bored if someone acted like me, variation is good, and since girls do not behave idiotically, the male tends to take on this role. And we love them because on the rare occasion they make us smile even for a little while, and since we remember pretty much everything we have the toughest time getting over them, because we remember that brief glimpse of happiness and we are stuck on it forever. So yea, it is very unfortunate that such idiotic losers break our hearts.
