My power exceeds his own, and my will for truth utterly abolishes his feeble doctrine of healing and love.
He was, if you will excuse my modern colloquially, a smart-***. So content with his raw and untested ideas, that a greater knowledge sat in the corner, like an unwanted party guest.
I suppose that this is where the ways of men truly part: if you wish to strive for peace of soul and pleasure, then believe; if you wish to be a devotee of truth, then inquire...

I don't know that you have presented ample evidence that accepting Jesus means that you can no longer seek truth or inquire...My beliefs are tested daily by what I see, hear, experience, learn scientifically, etc. Beliefs are those things that always seem to come out on top, explaining all the data that you continually collect.
Also, how do you know that Truth does not equal Love?

For the mere fact that you believe you are more than He is in all respects merits comment. So can you allow yourself to be killed in the manner He was and suffer the wounds He did and come back from the dead? I think not. And since you are as intelligent as you claim to be then you would know the answer to your own idiotic statement. Since you had no idea that I would respond to your comment in the manner which I am responding proves my point of the lack off Omniscience of you. Then to claim its a burden to have this uninvited guest in your life is astounding since its His party that you are invited to and you are the guest. By your own merits you have excluded yourself from the what you call it a "party" anyway. So please carry on with your excellent way of thinking and allow those that understand the nature of Jesus to enjoy the sacrifice of Christ for those who will accept.

You have freedom to accept or not to accept any religion, you have freedom to be an atheist.Do what you think is right for you. But your ego seems to be way too overinflated. Stop, smell the roses and take a care full look at yourself. And do not miss out on love.

Jesus the Christ is the pattern for all to follow. It is the way, the truth but God has granted you free will so that you may explore other ways through this exploration you will learn the truth.
Love God, Love Others, Love Yourself.

Whether or not Jesus is the son of God, I don't know. But he did stand up for his belief system at the peril of his life, which is more than you will accomplish in your lifetime.

I think you probably have never taken the time to fully read and understand the Bible, with help of course, (with your frame of mind, you couldn't read/understand it alone). If you did, you certainly wouldn't be talking about Jesus as if he were some flappant jerk (perhaps like yourself?).

Why do you feel the need to ask the question? If you were as smooth as you portray, you wouldn't need anyone else to vindicate your belief.

To have everlasting life, and not burn in hell with all the other sinners ( whether they are conscious or unconscious of their actions).
