Yes, it acutally makes relationship like friendship worse. One thing is for sure that, there would be no more friendship as soon as you have sex.

of course it will. intimacy is the most private thing you can share with another person. if you are already friends it may progress to something more and be great but it could change your friendship in a negative way too. think before you leap.

It did for me,when i met my bf,well now my ex he told me he wanted to have sex and i asked him if it would change our friendship after we had done this.He said no,well it's been 8 months and we haven't talked since then.It may different for you though.
