Why does America have to fix Mexico's problems?

Why would they protest in the US for being mistreated? They don't dare say anything bad about thier legal home country? I think all of these protests should be aimed south of the border. If they fixed Mexico's problems maybe they would not be climbing all over each other to be here illegaly.

thank you number one question in my book ! the root of the problem is mexico we gave amnesty before and it didn't work and it wont work now they need some tough love ! you know that old saying give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, but teach a man how to fish and he will eat for life . well that's what they need to do learn as a country stand for themselves if they would unite for this, its a crazy thought i know but it just might work. we cant just keep taking more and more and think there will be no social , economic ,population ramifications that's stupid !!!

That's pretty much the consensus, Mexico's about 4 different kinds of screwed up, and we're supposed to pick up the tab...
Screw THAT! Mexico's GOT money. They're just starving out their blue-collar class, and that's on purpose, to try and get em to bolt for the border and go get more money to dump right back in the mexican economy. The people that are behind all this aren't stupid, and the more I read about it, the more I realize that our country's getting GAMED. Again. When's Congress going to wise up, and start hiring sharper people to kind of, you know, like, maybe, um, I don't know, read a paper, once a month? It'd be a start...Mexico needs reform, plain and simple, so their people don't end up being someone else's tool, so that Mexico won't be a port of entry for god-knows-who trying to get into america, so that americans don't have to read about drug gangs loose on AMERICAN streets. I think the border fence is a great first start.
It says 'this far, and no farther', in no uncertain terms, even for the intentionally hard-of-hearing. We should help Mexico, yes, after the problem's been localized and contained IN Mexico. The only way to do that, unfortunately, is to borrow a page from the chinese and stop a lot of the cross-border traffic, in my view.
I don't know, maybe some people view that as cruel or draconian, but compare building a wall to one possible negative outcome of inaction, like a mexican civil war in america. I think most people would concur on the general merit of having the wall/fence/whatever. This is america, let's not let it go to ****...

We shouldn't have to and we should not! Please know this! There is a pamphlet given out - supposedly by the Mexico Govt) that tells them how and what to do in our country!

I live in California. I am tired of paying for welfare, medical, and housing (Section 8) for the illegals when our own people - seniors and people don't have these benefits. I think that every time there is a protest about the way the US is treating all the Mexicans - INS should be there and arrest any illegals and send them home.

I have no problem with anyone coming to our country legally, working, education...no problems. I'm just tired of paying for people who do not. Then have the guts to say we treat them bad.

Hey - they do have the right to leave. I wish they would!

Ever stopped to imagine that the white guy and the present 'individuals' and that i advise the voters of the U. Mexico has problems, USA has problems, Iraq has problems, etc....why is the USA over in Iraq? Soldiers dying every day...for what? Mexico is on our own doorstep, our neigbors, our friends? Why do we not help them? Bush and millions of red necks complain about illegals & how we don't have enough border patrol, etc...thats because all the soldiers are dying over in Iraq costing us nearly a millions of $$$ a day! Tell Bush to bring our soldiers home and spend OUR money right here at home! And if we're gonna help anybody we better damn well start with our neighbors and our friends, right!? Viva Mexico! The only time anything is going to happen in Mexico is when we
build the wall and close off the release valve that has been our border up till now and since they'll have nowhere else to go maybe they'll start going after the real problem which is the Mexican government.

They can't impact what is happening in their country. The truth is their country is pretty messed up. Plus most of them came here in relative poverty - exactly what power does an impovershed group have in a country like Mexico. Besides can Mexico give them free health care, the best education in the world, a retirement plan, even a disability plan, and lots of lawyers for which to file law suits with? Nope....Mexico can't give them all those wonderful things....

why not load them in ambulances and run them back over the border. That would cost less than treating them. Send them to Via Acunja, Juareuz, or Matamoros and just let them out. I'm sorry but if they can pay taxes and buy Homes then they can pay for Hospitalization too. I'm sure that Americans in Mexico have to pay or they don't get Help. Why should we give it to them for free. This goes for any state with illegals within their boundries

Good luck having President Vicente Fox around. He is like Fidal Castro but nobody think of him like that cus he kisses the President's a***. People will think you're a racist by telling the truth. THere are so many ignorant people out there that they want us (U.S) to pretty much be mother theresa to all the countries. I have some mexican friends who are embarrassed to be mexican because of illegals and lagal mexicans protesting saying stupid crap. And guess what? They holding up a mexican flag, not the american flag. IN AMERICA?!

Mexico is one of America's largest crude oil suppliers....Were kindof stuck, ever thought of it that way? Why don't you give up your wheels and America wont have to fix Mexico's problems anymore? Any more bright ideas?
