Like the kinds we traditionally have as a group? St Louis has one on the riverfront by the arch.

I do enjoy cinco de mayo celebrations, though it is not traditionally celebrated in Mexico except for Puebla.
P.S. it is not their independence day.

Come on now. 4th of July is just a long holiday weekend. Even those of us who aren't illegal don't exactly remember the passion and pride and righteousness of being independant of England and the tyrannical King George. We enjoy the sun, grill on the bbq, probably drink beer... and enjoy the fireworks.

I'm sure illegals enjoy it in exactly the same way.

Huh?

I think they should be enjoying it from the country where they are legally entitled to reside, but I hope they enjoy it.

4th of July has become pretty pathetic in California. Nothing is legal. Much better to celebrate in Mexico where you can still get fireworks...

Gosh! Do you think they'll be wavin' their Mexican flags again? It wouldn't surprise me - let's see... hijacked the National Anthem... took the image of Iwo Jima and desecrated it with sombrero's and a Mexican flag... just more of the blatantly ballsy no class crap that we've been getting a steady diet of. They don't have enough sense to keep a low profile - Sure! C'mon out and insult us some more! We're up for it (waiting for November....)!!

I think that if people really enjoy that sort of thing, they should try a lot harder to be LEGAL immigrants. If they're not down for legality, then they're not down for the 4th of july other than as a day to skip work...

im sure you would like to have any excuse to celebrate like cinco de mayo. you should feel proud that people from other nations want to celebrate this nations independence.

of course they enjoy it just like they enjoy everything else about our country. Especially our welfare system. Wake up my American brothers and sisters. These so called imigrants are raping our country. And we all know there is only one way to cure a rapist. Cut it off.

They're the ones setting up and breaking down the fire works sets, right? I think it's great. Let them "enjoy" away!

JK... this topic goes oh so very much deeper. Not enough ink in my cursor to cover my thoughts on it. lol

What's wrong with that? Anyone can celebrate it anywhere. That still doesn't mean that they are an American or have the legal right to be here.

It simply shows that they have no concept of loyalty to either country. sad.
They just want to watch the fireworks displays.
Just one more thing that America provides for free, entertainment for criminal trespassers.
