It's not important that we see you cry, it just re-affirms to us that you have feelings too.
It also shows that you have a sensitive side.
I don't think she wanted you to sob on her shoulder (that would be a bit much), but she didn't want you to be embarassed with her. Openness is great, and I am proud of you that you could do that infront of your woman!!!! Good job!

A man and woman have the same feelings. Fear, happiness, envy, sadness, nervousness, love, etc. So why is it our society says a man can't cry. I personally commend you for being able to even be misty eyed. A man who is comfortable with himself should never have to hide tears. And a woman who sees a man who can do this - realizes he is strong and centered in himself as a man. That is very appealing. It shows confidence in one's self.

Awwww, that's so cute!!! I was watching the world cup, and one of the guys on the U.S. team started crying when they sang the anthem and it was soooo cute.
Honestly, I have no idea why it's romantic. It's just that sensitivity that makes a girl love a guy even more. If he can cry, he can love, if he can love, you're safe.

Men who can let themselves cry occasionally are more emotionally healthy. Bottling it up all the time is not good for you. Girls learn at a young age how to have a good cry for therapy every now and then. Most boys are taught never to cry, so they learn not to.

Because it means you are a real whole person. Not a half developed perpetrator who would prefer to punch a hole in a wall all for the appearance of being a "manly man."
See, now I've fallen in love with you.

To know and understand that they have feelings too. I honestly hate seeing my boyfriend cry cuz it hurts me inside (after or during a fight I mean) and I feel so horrible.

I don't know if I would say that it is important, but it's nice to see that a guy can show his feelings. Ya know..let your pride down a bit.

Women like to feel like they are helping...if we see you cry or you do it on our shoulder than we feel like we've helped by acknowledging it. That's all we want when we cry. Best wishes

well, i guess if a guy is able to cry around us (girls) it makes us feel like you (guys) trust enough to show your emotions, not hide them. It makes us feel like we are needed and trustworthy.
