My son has a very bad skin problem. He has to put this cream all over his body or his skin starts to turn into big sores and starts falling off. He spent almost 3 days in jail and now his hands and arm are covered. His hands are the worst he can't bend his fingers at all
He told the officers and they refused to let him see the nurse or doctor.
I have told him to get alot of pictures of his body.

There are not enough details, what type of medication, how long have them been in the jail

( not they are a prisoner in jail, an inmate is in a correctional institute or prison)

And there are different standards in many states for those in jails compared to prison, since normally jails hold people in transit or for a few days awaiting being bonded out.

Also if the Jail medical intake people were not told of the need, or if the jail doctor did not beleive this medication was needed, it would not be given.

In a situation like that (based on the limited information you have given) I would have to conclude that the inmate was probably selling or trading their medication to other inmates. There could also be a health risk involved with continuing that particular medication.

if that person is on death row then they have a legal stand if he is not on death row they are in violation and could face serious problems if it was aired and proved to be true by a medical staff at a hospital
