Why are so many people using this program so black? C'mon. Do you really need to put Lil in front of you name? Just because you think you're ghetto because you listen to rap doesn't mean you have to act like it!

Are you asking about the genealogy of African Americans? Are you interested in tracing your family history back to the ghettos of European cities? Do you have a yearning to find out what the nickname, Lil' stands for? Thinking of writing a book on the family backgrounds of rap musicians? Wondering why there are so many people with the surname, Black?

If your answer to any of the above is "Yes," you've reached the right category in Yahoo Answers!!... Genealogy.

Otherwise you've reached the wrong category. Genealogy is the study of family history. It does have its own stereotypes but none of them fit your description above.

We are genealogists who are proud of what we do.
Am I a stereotype?
I am white, not black, I use this program.
I liked Lil Abner, he was cool. Nothing wrong with that name.
My neighborhood I live in is called box town. Sounds ghetto??
I only listen to country rock.
Thanks for listening to me.

Honestly that is not acting black its just stupidity. If people want to show their lack of intelligence then let them.

if that is what they want to do, it's their choice. What if we decide to say that your question is white? Everyone has the right to be their own character.
