andygurl you're always welcome to answer my questions ,your comment was really nice Thanks! Even if it wasn't I can take criticism and you know what the more some people make ignorant comments about Italy the stronger the team get, so everyone is welcome to make any stupid, ignorant,childish comments!!

Update on Gianluca Pessotto: According to doctors he came out of the coma (he opened his eyes and recongnized people around him) nothing else is being said as to how serious his condition is!

Hope you don't mind me answering your Q. Yes Italy improved greatly today and performed more like the side we expect them to be. Luca is very talented. Great asset to Italy. Ukraine did not play to their potential today and I think lack of big game experience v Italy's experience in the situation came through. Well onto the next round for you. Good Luck.

probably you haven't been involved with soccer too much, basically you are ignorant about the rules and how soccer is played. How pathetic!
Let me show something that may open your eyes (i doubt tough...):
Check the stats for the FOULS in the ITALIAN games, from the official FIFA web site:
Italy 8 - Ghana 22
Italy 13 - USA 24
Czech Republic 18 - Italy 17
Italy 17 - Australia 26
Italy 15 - Ukraine 31
So, why talking about something that you have no knowledge at all?

I would say so. Ukraine wasn't a particulary tough side, but they somehow made it to the quarterfinals, so they couldn't be underrated. Plus, they have Shevchenko.
I'm happy that Italy still keep their clean sheet (except for the own goal) and scored 3 goals (no PK's!!!) today. If Luca Toni finally woke up, Germany may have a hard time. Unless they knock out Buffon like they did with Abbondanzieri LOL --> (Don't get mad if you are German fans, I'm not saying they did that on purpose).
In any event, Buffon is amazing, and so is Cannavaro!!! (I root for AC Milan in the Italian league, but I have to be honest).

I only stopped here to see how Pessotto is, I will not comment ont the game, you know how I think about it, but I am ancious to know how pessotto is. That man was a gentleman when he played soccer. It's a shame that the Italians do not follow his example

I think Italy is very lucky. They had a very easy group and they got lucky on a penalty shot to put them in the quarter finals. They may get lucky against Germany but they won't win the final. That right is reserved for the best team.

It was good to see Italy play a cleaner game...Ukraine were the underdogs by far in this round. You really can not compare if any the Italians talent on this game today. Let us see them play the Germans....

They didn't play too bad - but there was clear diving! The refs really should be more stern with them really, not just Italy but all divers in general. However they did have a really good defense system which denied Ukraine's attempts.

Yea, about time Italy starts playing up to their potential! I wasn't happy with the way they were playing in group match or the way they won against Australia.....but after this match I was totally satisfied
