I will start with the fact that I serve the Living God Almighty.
How would I describe His love? My experiences of His love would stagger you if I listed them. He sent His only Son, which I would not ever do, to take my sins and to die with them and His Son, Jesus, was willing to do that. Jesus was separated from the Father during the time on the cross. If I cut myself in half and lived through the pain, it would not come close to what He did for me, in taking my sins upon Him and being separated from the Father. He rose for me. He is the supplier of hope eternal. He is my comforter and strength. He answers my prayers and sometimes the answer is no because He loves me. Every day, He gives me good gifts. It may be nothing more than good eyesight so I can see His painting of the sunset or sunrise. He never rejects me or moves away from me. He allows me to make decisions and He allows me to learn thru the consequences of some of those decisions but He never stops loving me. I have seen Him miracluosly heal people or take them home when it was too hard to live on. I've had my own babies and held them in my arms. They are so different from each other. Little miracles. I was not supposed to have children the doctor's said. They forgot to ask God. I didn't and He gave me the best of the best. I see Him healing marriages everyday. Not a day goes by that someone doesn't call or tell me what wonderful love He has poured out on them and how He did it.
I base my faith on the Bible, the Word of God. I study it, I do word studies to make sure the meanings are right, I listen to good solid preaching at church and in Sunday School and I go back and check to make sure they have quoted the Word correctly. I did not go into this light heartedly. I dug in and studied. The Bible can be historically proven too. Check it out and find the lasting love that only He can provide. He is faithful and true. He is the lover of our souls and loves having us as His kids. See you in heaven?

You mean literally? Physically? Your going to get a lot of canned answers, people saying what they have heard or read... if you mean REAL feeling?
God's love um... well to be honest its hard to explain. It can even hurt a bit, your heart will fill, you feel it may burst. If you have any resentment, or if your not in a good place with god it can cause a huge feeling of missing, longing... often when down, and at the bottom of if all. it will feel as if everyone and/anyone you have ever loved reaches down and wraps around you. a deep breath, a shutter and a sigh and weight lifts off you so you can stand, but when its happening its heavy and your humbled and will not want to....
There is many forms it comes in. it can even be from one human to another, I have felt God. Or very seriously just drifting in a spiritual place... but many times it will hang heavy in the air, a thick sort of humidity, heavy... sort of un-natural and the back of your neck will feel hot. you will be calm nbut feel weighted like a heavy blanket is on you. that is what they mean by the Anointing.... you can feel it sometimes in a church. knowing what I do now, id probably not go to a church without it.
God's love can do amny things from calm to revitalize. normally for me its insight, calming me or making me feel at ease. It "swells up" inside many times and you will feel a part of your heart used that will often be dormant without his love.
I am not very religious but have been many religions. I have felt this in many forms. also if for a moment you even question it, its not him. In my opinion.
I have been Wiccan, Jehovah Witness and Christian. I would describe this as the Christian God's love. Its very much so all encompassing. the only thing I can say is "close" to the feeling is a VERY VERY emersive "nature" feeling, but thats totally different. Its like any super overwhelming experience.

Gods love is kind, forgiving, everlasting, nurturing, protecting,
providing, discipline,caring, joy, wondorous,
amazing, peaceful and alway with us.
I base Gods love on knowing that God is always listening and Jesus is continually walking with us and the Holy Spirit is continually guiding us in the right path to salvation. My experiences of being saved proved how much God loves me.
My whole life is new through the Lord. God gave his only son Jesus as a sacrifice so that we would no longer be seperated by sin and could be with God in an eternal life. Thats how much God loves us.

No you can't describe God's love - it is too overwhelming. I am a Christian.I believe the Bible without exception, and that is where I find the things I base my belief on. However I do not agree and believe against reason - God is in reason, therefore he makes perfect sense. As far as His love; I have felt it so many times and been guided by it. It is infinite, complete, perfect, fulfilling, purpose giving, holy, inexpressible, self sacrificing, absolute, forgiving, redeeming, and "every other good and perfect thing".

as for me and my house we serve the Lord let me start there Gods love is never ending always there. We don't have children but I imagine it like when a child goes to a parent and is hurting the parents there to take the hurt away. God does that. He completes us fullfills us even in the midst of struggles u can have His peace and His joy.
am reading a book just like Jesus by Max Lucado and it's taking me to another level with God am so excited to see all that Gods got in store for me
I want to love the way Jesus loved. He never judged never condemned anyone and am trying to be more like that.

God is the originator of love. His love is pure, genuine, and in given in abundance. His written word, and all the things I see that He's created that couldn't have just evolved or happened by itself. Would you give your child as a ransom sacrafice to be tortured and put to death to save others? When an illness or tragedy occurs, who is the first One they usually call on for help, when drs or no other human can help? He gets blamed for many bad things, but isn't mankind doing this to themselves by not listening to what He says is best for us?

The Father's love is immesurable, merciful, kind, and understanding, but He does show His love under two categories:
1) for the people He has created either good or bad (by giving them their daily needs), and much more important
2) for those group of people Whom He has chosen and elected to serve Him until the end (by providing them their material needs and saving them from eternal damnation come Judgement Day).

In my younger days, when I was a person of faith, I imagined God to be something like a perfect combination of all the authority figures and ideal family members I knew or could imagine. In my mind he was the most caring mother, the most doting father, the closest sibling, the most reliable friend, the most fascinating teacher, and the toughest coach I ever had--all rolled into one.
And he wanted me to shine like a lighthouse.
