Have you ever smelled a dirty litter box, smells like ammonia, The only thing you would accomplish by spraying that is to give the cat an open invitation to use the sprayed area as a litterbox.
Some ot the sprays availible to deter kitty are so offensive to your nose it's enough to gag a maggot.
I just use some lysol spray every couple of days in areas the cats seem overly interested in, plus keeping your litterbox clean,

I propose speaking on your associates. If that would not paintings, you've some others options: a million) waste some time and money on plausible free repellant 2) call animal administration - that is a delusion that there at the instantaneous are not leash guidelines for cats - there ARE. they are going to capture the cats and then have a verbal replace with the proprietors about perfect care of animals. 3) seize the cat your self and take it the Humane Society (they gained't placed it down, yet they are going to fantastic the proprietors even as they arrive in to get their beloved) 4) assemble the cat poop in a plastic bag, then unload the bag on their the front porch once you've amassed a good volume 5) tell them that you've talked about there is a few animal crap on your backyard, yet you do not have an animal, so that you've desirous to placed down some repellant that to procure on the keep. tell that the equipment shows it will make animals violently ill if ingested, so that you in straight forward words wanted to warn them that you've been doing it earlier their cats got here to visit and were given ill. you do not extremely ought to placed something down - purely tell them that you'll. Any of the above can help. speaking including your associates likely gained't help, regrettably. i'm interior a similar boat in my community. this is strange.

My goodness, don't use that. Go to the pet store and get orange bitters or use vinegar and water in a spray bottle. And get your cat a cat tree and hang stuff on doors he/she can scratch at so it will distract him/her from what you don't want it near.

You could try bitter apple spray on the area your cat should not be. Other option- put catnip (also known as valeriana) where you want your cat to spent most of the time.

I have heard that using Pine Sol or vinegar will work. Cats hate the smell of both of those products.

squirt bottle with a cheap perfume with water. will not hurt the cat and they will stop once they see the bottle come out. works wonders.they may foam at the mouth just because they don't like the taste. 2 to 1 water and perfume.
