My ex and I have been apart for a while and I am incredible happy with my new boyfriend but now my ex is telling me that he misses me and that I was perfect for him and how he was such and idiot for letting go. He wants to be with me ( so he says) and he says that we have so much history together that i should be with him but i am not sure what to do,but i think that i'll stay with my new boyfriend because i am happy and he is always doing things for me that i don't expect.(flowers, dinner at fav. places, and surprise camping trips to the lake with just the two of us)

If you're happy with the new bf (and not just because he buys you things), then tell the ex, sorry bout your luck. Tell him you actually shuold thank him, because if he hadn't left you you never would have met this guy. And you are happy, and hope he can find someone to be as happy with.

It seems like you already have the answer. But ask yourself in your heart who do you love the most? I would suggest you should stay where you are and not go back cuz your old relationship will just make you hurt more later, that's based on my past experience. You probably lost the trust from your ex and why go back and torture yourself again?

If you end it with this new guy and go back to him he will continue to put you through the crap that made you break up in the first place. He will also have no respect for you because he had the power to influence you to end it with the new guy for him. Be done and give your new man a chance.

Forget your ex, cut him out of your life completely. He doesn't care about your happiness or he wouldn't be trying to break you up with your current bf. Enjoy the new bf, he sounds like a decent guy.
