Lean meat, fish, chicken, and pork...Fruits, and Vegetables...

That's what I have followed for the past 3 years now, and relax, I do cheat, once in a while...Also, milk is good for you, if you don't have problems with drinking it...Cheese is good for you...Very little bread...Yougert...Gee, what's wrong with me? This is what everyone should be following, from the young to the old, for healthier life styles...

Same kind of food that is healthy for young people: low fat, high fiber, no refined sugar, no fried foods, and lots of water

My grandparents eat grits and chicken sausage with gravy, rice, ribs, collard greens, fried chicken and black eyed peas. I think Grandpop still has a beer everyday.

They live in the South, and the still have their own teeth.

Vegetables. It's science...humans are omnivores. Just like animals, we need more protein in our diets when we're young (more fit to hunt). As we get older and our teeth get worn down, our bodies change their nutritional requirements to diet filled with plants (fiber!).
