Well, if you're not married to him, why should you have to do everything with him? Sounds a little bit controling to me. Have you done something to betray his trust? If so, this would be a good reason for him to do this sort of thing. Reguardless, you are a single woman with friends and things you would like to do on your own. You need to let your boyfriend know that and if he doesn't like it, too bad. He isn't worth it if he can't trust you enough to do the right thing. A man with a control issue can lead to worse things later on in life as well. Be careful and have fun dear! God Bless!

Huh?

Bottom line, if he isn't giving you time to go out with your friends with out him, he is too controlling. You should offer to take him along once in a while for a couple reasons 1) to show him that there is nothing going on for him to worry about and 2) to give your friends a chance to know him. If he can't handle the fact the you want to have time for your friends, he is too controlling.

I was in a controlling relationship before. It started out with telling me what to wear, where I could go. Eventually it got to the point I wasn't "allowed" to hang out with any of my friends or talk to guys period. If we went to a restaurant and had a male server, he ordered for me because I wasn't supposed to talk to him. Last straw, he got physically abusive. It might not seem like a big sacrifice to begin with, but it always turns into something more. Eventually you have no self esteem, and feel like you'd be nothing without him. Talk to him, if he isn't willing to loosen his grip, I say get out now before it gets worse.
