Can anyone tell me why living together without benefit of marriage is a good idea? Is "Shacking Up" anything but a prostitute living with her John? Has the selfishness and irresponsibility of these people made "bastards" of their children?

No child I know of introduces their parent as you suggest, they introduce their parents as mom and dad.How sad that your "faith" encouages you passing judgement upon others and yet I thought my Bible taught me "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I don't know anyone sin free, do you?You seem to have a closed mind when it comes to your perception of the world and I can't imagine you raising a child to love and accept anyone who is different in any respect than you.I'm glad my parents taught me to have an open mind and to know that we are all God's children.My grandmother's favorite hymn was "Jesus loves me" and my dad's was "What a friend we have in Jesus".
