...sitting on the heavenly throne, how would you react?

And please don't start quoting the text or saying the obvious (oh no! that will never happen because...). Just play along.

Will you be really depressed? Will you cry? Dance a jig?

Apologize profusely for not believing, but I would plead my case and explain that all that I have done in my life would add up to the same. And that in all cases I have nothing but the utmost respect for anyone who stands by their religion. I learned a long time ago that nothing should change the way you feel about your convictions, not even angels, because the evil one can disguise himself as an angel of light.

lol I love the one who answered "if that happen (which it won't)"...

Ah, gotta love those blind believers who don't know anything about their own faith but are the first to tell you how wrong you are.

Jesus, Allah, Shiva, Buddha, etc... are all just words to describe the Unmoved Mover, or the Ultimate Being. The fact is that it's only the details about the Being that we all seem to disagree on. But, because we as humans (by our very definition) are finite, and the Ultimate Being, or God, is (by its very definition) infinite, no matter what definition or description or label we apply to the Ultimate Being, we're bound to be off by many degrees. The reason is because no human can even remotely comprehend the infinite, or God. So, I suspect that the Ultimate Being isn't necessarily Jesus or Allah. Those are just names we give God. As for the details, people get so caught up in the wrong details that they forget the whole point of having faith.

Obviously, I'd have to face the fact that I was wrong my entire life. I thing that would be a huge adjustment. I'd probably start off in shock, sit down, take awhile to think about it. I'd probably have the same sort of questions that the Calormen in "The Last Battle" by C. S. Lewis had. Like, I have lived for my God, not you, why am I here? As long as I was satisfied with the answer, I would probably also be satisfied to stay, and would make a pretty good adjustment.

the only answer up here should be "i'd be happy to be in heaven". i can't believe how many people on here are saying they'd be devastated for believing in the wrong god for so many years.. ---------- to me, this provides such good insight as to why so many christians can't except science. science is about constantly reevaluating what you believe and always being willing to abandon an idea no matter how much time you've invested into it. it should more important to be "true" than to be "right". --------- instead though,,,, these people think that discovering truth is some sort of a game.,,,, like,,, who's ever most persistent wins.

i don't believe in god. but if this happened, then i'd be extremely happy for two reasons: 1- because i'd be in heaven,,, and you can't get much happier than that. and 2- because i'd have a better understanding of what is actually true.

That will never happen. They won't be there, but if they were sitting on the Heavenly throne, Christians won't be in heaven to see it because they are unbelivers in Buddha, Allah, etc. No unbelievers will be there.

Given that all these figures are mythical and that heaven is a mythical place, and given that there is no credible evidence to prove the existence of either supernatural agencies, such as deities, or of supernatural locations, such as heaven: if I found myself in Heaven and found a deity of any kind there, I would be greatly disoriented until I came to the realization that either I must be in a coma "dreaming" or that I am near death and having a hallucination.

I’m a Catholic and if an unfamiliar deity was on a throne in heaven I wouldn’t mind. I mean “Whatever will be will be.” There is no need to get worked up over something that cannot be helped.

Your question does not make since. You said to no find Jesus, but...? Um did you know Jesus is not God? You meant to not find God, etc. If they found Allah and or the others, the would still find Jesus cause those other religions believe Jesus is just a prophet.

I would be surprised, but still happy.
Though I'm not Christian, it wouldn't matter who I found sitting in that throne, because they are all different faces of the same Being.

At least, that's what I believe

well for one thing if Jesus wasn't God there's probably little chance I'd make it into heaven as I would have been following the wrong religion my whole life, but if it happened I'd be really disappointed that my whole life I had a picture of God and it turns out this is who God is? cause no offense to these religions but my opinion of these religious leaders/gods is very low

God is claimed to have "begotten" Jesus (pbuh). Jesus (pbuh) is claimed to be the "Son" of God. "Beget" is a verb which implies an action. No matter how you define what God actually did in order to "beget" Jesus (pbuh), any definition must require that God Almighty performed some action and then Jesus (pbuh) came into being. Before God performed this action Jesus was not. After God performed this action Jesus came into being. Thus, not only is Jesus (pbuh) not eternal, since there was a time (before the "begetting") when he did not exist, but he can also never be co-eternal with God since God was in existence at a time when Jesus was not.So God is the creator of universe .God created humans& angels for none purpose just to
obey him because in his obedience we will find our destiny. Now muslim worship one God ( the same God yahwa who send mosses, the same Father in heaven who send Jesus, the same God who send prophet of islam , it doesnt matter that we call God in arabic Allah) We believe that God send his prophets for none other purpose just topreach one lesson worship him alone without making idols .We believe in heaven we will see all prophets that were send to us . All prophets of God preach us one message God is one worship him alone. All prophets will be in heaven so that means we will be able to see Jesus in heaven
