Then when children are born, they hear their mother's introducing their fathers as "my boyfriend" and not "My husband." Might as well be saying, "I'm the hooker, and this is my live-in John." How can anyone respect that kind of arrangement or respect the people accepting that kind of arrangement?

Unfortunately, we're living in a time where the "anything goes" humanistic way of thinking pervades the major realm of society.
Therefore, expect the moral code that was once respected and adhered to decline with the surge of this humanistic thinking.

You don't know every ones situation....just because you believe in marriage before children doesn't mean that other people do.....there is absolutely nothing wrong with people having children with there boyfriends...it happens everyday....don't be so naive.....I respect people who have this arrangement...don't give a fuc* what you accept or respect....because some guys who are in this situation don't even stick around after the kid is born...I respect any man or woman that takes care of there responsibilities and doesn't walk away from them....grow up!

Umm, why do you care? If people want to sleep together and have children without getting married than that is their right. It doesn't mean they are prostitutes. Some people don't believe in marriage. The only thing we should be concerned about is that children are loved and cared for. If that's the case, then what else is there? I was raised by two people who were married and I lived a childhood of hell. I would have rather been raised by a single mother or father who loved me and didn't hit me and tell me I was worthless.

You attribute your questions and opinions as you being frank. I would like to know how you would deal with this situation. If you had an unwed daughter (or son) and there was an unplanned pregnancy would you encourage an abortion or would you introduce your grandchild as your bastard grandchild whose mother and father were ahooker and a john.Based on your judging of others you would have to choose the latter because you wouldn't support an abortion.
