When you drink, alcohol is absorbed by the small intestine and carried throughout the body through the bloodstream. As it passes through your liver, alcohol is metabolized by oxidation to toxic acetaldehyde, and then is in turn oxidized by the enzyme Aldehyde Dehydrogenase (ALDH) to harmless acetic acid. But not before the lingering acetaldehyde causes increased heart rate, nausea, headache, and other typical hangover symptoms.

1. NEVER mix aspirin, NSAIDS (Tylenol) or anything else. Unless you really care to severely damage your liver even more. Use as directed.
2. Sleep and get plenty of it!
3.Try not to drink anything thats too cold or too hot. This puts extra stress on your stomach. Caffeine will dehydrate you and will make you feel sicker. So avoid it. Water is the best way to go.
4. Fresh fruit is okay. Try toast, bread, saltine crackers until you're ready to eat normally again. No dairy, soda, and meat products (sugar).

Best cure is not drinking at all. Quit over doing it dummy!

A BC Powder (powdered aspirin with caffeine), careful not to inhale as you swallow it and a cheese burger (#2 from a Sonic Drive-In if you're lucky enough to have one).

The BC also works if you take it before you start drinking and drink stuff mixed with fruit juice through out the evening.

#1) don't drink so much #2) try some Advil or Alleve - they work for me. (but their for migraine's as I don't drink - but if they'll cure a migraine I'm sure they'll work for a hangover. Good luck and watch the drinking.

Each person is different, but I have found the best for me is two extra strength Tylenols and two aspirins, a couple of coffee brewed double strength and a Diet Coke... in that order.

I heard that if you take a Advil or Tylenol before you pass out you won't get a hang over in the morning....but best thing you could do is just sleep it off or keep on drinkin ....lol

I always fell better if I eat eggs toast and a glass of milk. Here is a hint. if you go out drinking drink a glass of water before you go to bed. that is why you hurt. you are dehydrated put it next to you bed before you go out. or a gatoraid. 2 will help you more. next time try that. it will help. I know from experince.

drink lots of water while drinking. Works like a charm! Take a couple antacids to coat your stomach before drinking. :)
