When I repented of my sin's and believed in Jesus forgiving my sin's and I would be saved. At that very minute I felt like the whole world had been lifted up off my shoulders, that I didn't realize I had been carrying . Since then I have changed , I don't say and do the things I did. When I see my prayers being answered I still am just awe stricken by how much God loves me and how safe and loved I feel . Which is something I have never had with a person. It's beyond describing.

Religion is the human search for a deity and as such is value free - it neither makes you better nor worse.
Christianity is not a religion. It is God's search for humanity by becoming human as Jesus. Jesus saves those who accept him and then works with them to make them more Christ-like.

Religion doesn't make you a better person but only God thru his son Jesus christ can make you a better person.Jesus is a heart changer.

It is supposed to provide moral guidance to live a good life to enter heaven and the everlasting life.
That is the idea anyway.

it gives you something to fall back on when nothing else works. its supposed to give you some kind of fufillment and make you feel like you have a reason for being on earth, a purpose. it gives you a chance to cleanse yourself from all mistakes, etc. at least, thats what it means to me.

it sets boundaries and shows logical ways to behave in life instead of being impulsive and acting w/out thinking which almost always put u in a bad spot in life
