The problem here is that you're asking a question about a gross generalization, while making one yourself. Not ALL women bash men...just like ALL men are not jerks. Sometimes women feel the need to belittle men because they are either trying to be funny at the expense of the man, or they might actually "like" you and are going about showing you in a very sophomoric way. There are lots of reasons why people hurt each other...Possibly the women/woman who insulted you has been abused by men or insulted by men, and this is her opinion. but take heart fella...it's not all women who feel this way.

I'm always telling girls that same thing. That not all men are jerks. I have a great man and my friends have great men. Then I hear co-workers complain about jerks and how some even believe there are no good guys but I always tell them "not true, my husband is not a jerk and either are my friend's husbands." It's just all about what men your hanging around. THere are a lot of bad people out there all together and if you hang around the scumbags then that's what you think is out there.

Some women make generalizations about men because they have encounted someone who hurt them, raped by a man or made them feel bad about themselves to a point that they can not forgive and move on. I have noticed that some of the worst ones are ones who have some deep seated issues that they can not resolve in their past so they feel that all men must pay for the crimes of one cruddy guy. It's not right, I agree with you, but I have also come across some men with the same problem towards women. They get hurt by one and then spend their time trying to make other women "pay" for what happened to them.

Because men feel the need to lie, backstab and cheat. You are right, not all men are jerks but most are, particularly the ones that say they're not usually turn out to be the worst. When men quit ripping my heart out, tearing it to shreds and stomping on the pieces, I'll quit thinking poorly of them. As far as time to know them, my experience has been that the more you know about them the more you wish you didn't know them at all...

Women who stereotype men and bash them aren't the kind of girls I like to hang out with. They seem to do it because it's easier to blame ALL men instead of focusing on the problem they are having with one man in particular. Therefore, the problem is the fault of "men" and not Joe, Bob, or Tony, making it easier for the woman to distance herself from the problem. Not all of us chicks do this.

Women kiss MUCH MORE pigs (oh, I mean FROGS) than princes. Ever consider that most women who get involved with men have had MORE than their share of lies, cheating, abuse, being used for sex sEX SEX, more cheating and games, deadbeat dads, guys who made fun of overweight women, guys who stare and flirt, guys who come on to lesbians, guys who come on to attached women, guys who cheat on their girlfriends with other men, guys who rape, guys who are possessive, guys who can't eat cootie no matter how they try, guys who can't WIPE, guys who think men should make more money, guys who love football instead of their wives, men who don't goo into the TOWEL, men who leave pee and pubes on the toilet seat and FART everyplace ... Imagine waking up tomorrow and YOU are a woman. Get involved with some men and then you will answer your own question. Bottom line: DON'T CRITICIZE WHAT YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

probably because they were bashed and insulted by men. therefore see every man as swine, pigs, dickheads etc. we're not all that way.
