Sugeries are out due to I cant be put under. I also have a trakostomy hole in my neck that will never heal from being on life support from several years ago which because of my weight and that means I run out of breath really easy. Does anyone have any idea(s) of what I can do to help myself with weight loss?

I'm a registed dietitian, so I may be able to help. First of all, most of the diets and diet pills out there DO NOT work. They promise a quick fix, but like the old saying goes "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is".
I would recommend you stop eating anything that contains refined sugars (read food labels carefully for sugar and corn syrup ingredients). Increase your fiber intake (with fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains) and start a low-impact exercise program. Because of your weight you may not be able to do a lot at first, and that's fine, don't push yourself, but as you continue your tolerance for exercise will build up and you'll be able to do more.
Email me if you want more help with your plan.

There's a plan called "The Six Week Body Makeover"

I'm prediabetic and have to loose weight also. My mother had bought the kit over Christmas and didn't use it, so she allowed me to borrow it. The kit cost her about $100, but it comes with the diet booklet, exercise guide, and a few other things. It's customized to your body type.

Basically, what it is, is a diet of whole grains, certain meats depending on your body type, certain low glycemic fruits and veggies, no sugar, you cut out the salt and the usual fat.

It's a good healthy diet with exercise. The exercises don't have to be walking, it's small movement for the most part. You could easily use arm bands, sit in your chair and do a good portion of them. The important part is just to move.

You have six small meals a day. That keeps your bloodsugar steady and your body from thinking you're in starvation mode. It also keeps you from getting overly hungry as you eat every three hours. You also drink 100 ounces of water a day. It helps keep you hydrated, the water helps you have that full feeling, and it reves up your metabolism.

Have youtried the Shapeworks weight loss plan? I was almost 300 lbs when I started on it. I lost 95 lbs in 8 months with no excercise (which would help with your not being able to breathe). If you haven't tried it, here is the website where I got it from: www.loseweightnow.com/tfward

Try the zone diet. My doctor said that one is the best. I'd also start off with some short walks a couple times a day. Don't take just any advise, talk with your doctor first.

Have you thought about Medifast or something like it? Lots of people have success with it. It's monitored by your doc and everything. You lose your weight pretty quickly with it also.
