How come guys never want to date smart girls. They always choose the ditzy one. Even if the smart one is just as good looking they dont care. They will be friends with smart girls but never date them. Why do guys only like girls who aren't as smart as them!?

Guys dont go for smart girls cause their afraid that they wont be able to control the relationship. Dumb girls will do whatever they say.

Personally, I can't stand ditzy girls. I need to be able to have an intelligent conversation (that will hold my interest) with a woman if I'm even going to look twice at her. The guys that choose the stupid girls over smart ones are probably just looking to get laid as opposed to getting involved in an actual relationship where they might just start to care about the other person. Some guys do enjoy being with a woman that isn't as intelligent as him so that they can show off how much they know about one thing or another. I've never been into showboating, and neither have any of my friends, so we all like smart women instead of stupid ones, regardless of appearances.

"Guys" is a hell of a generality. Going out with ditzy girls is no a univeral trait. I personally think that if a girl, or anyone, isn't capable of an intelegent conversation, they're certainly not worth spending a lot of time with. I know a number of other men who feel the same way. You might consider that the GUYS you've been exposed to are every bit a ditzy themselves as the girls they choose. Smart girls, or smart people in general, may just scare the $#!+ out of them.

It may be because the guys aren't smart and, you know guys, they don't like to accept that a woman is more intelligent. Men don't tend to choose women who are good at DIY either because that is a "man" thing. There are some guys who aren't like that though. Just one or two who actually want a partner with whom they can have an intelligent conversation. You would be hard pushed to find them though because they aren't normally the same ones as go out looking for girls and stuff.

All guys don't like stupid girls. It just seems that way. Most guys are a couple of years behind girls in maturity and ditsy or stupid girls don't make them feel inferior. Some guys' egos are huge and need constant stroking. They want to feel smarter and stronger than a girl. So, when a guy grows up he'll appreciate a smart girl...one that can help bring home the bacon and can cook it too.

Not true at all. I only date smart girls, they're just very hard to find. One of the hard parts of dating smart girls, especially in the beginning of the relationship, is that they see through our B.S. Dumb girls will believe anything you say, but smart girls know when you're lying. It becomes a bad thing when she asks things like "Do you think that girl is pretty?" because we get in trouble for wrong answers and right answers alike.

Because smart girls tend to be more independent and self sufficient. A guy likes to "wear the pants in the family." Besides, ditzy girls make them laugh.

a similar is going for women going for stupid men. Its usually the best those that are left unmarried. also you won't be able to assume someone is stupid because he/she says "um" or asks dumb questions, each from time to time those finally end up being the best. great minds dont imagine alike. in any case, I fancy psychological females, yet Im usually missed for the taller, extra socially adhering, stupid guy; each individual is growing overly picky on courting, which comes from social effect. As I advance older, I commence to comprehend that i'd be unmarried until eventually i am going to dance, pass to golf equipment and performance conversations about unnecessary ineffective ****. Oh, and that i;ve been to varsity, and it didnt help.
