Do you rememeber the parable of the prodigal son? When he came home to ask his father if he could be a servant in the Father's house, it says "the Father saw him afar off..." The Father in the story is God. I love the image of Him watching expectantly for us to return. He runs out to greet His child and embraces him.

My husband and I have promised each other to meet each other there. We have had three miscarriages. I look forward to finally getting to see those babies I lost and hold them in my arms.

Viktor Frankl said, "If you have a "why" to live for, you can survive almost any 'how.'" Those images are part of my "why." Death is not my friend, it is my enemy. And yet, I can bear the thought of it and fight the fear of it, because it is not the end. God has the final say, not death.

,I think if you come to accept someday you have to die and your spirit and body have to separate for a time and your spirit will leave and go to heaven. I think the fear of death will go away and knowing heaven is a good place and you will not stop existing I think once again you fear of death will go away and all this comes from religion. I know this to be true but I still have not accepted I will die and all the things I told you.

it tells you that death is a phase and if you're good you'll go to a good place. 4 ppl who don't have a religion, they're afraid of death because they think death is the end of existence. But 4 ppl with religion, regardless of what it is, the soul never dies it lives on, making the human body more of a shell for ur soul instead of your only state of existence

Hope you’re not too miffed with me, to read my answer, apologise if you have been offended by some of my questions. Back to the point:

Say: ‘Death, from which you are fleeing, will certainly catch up with you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible and He will inform you about what you did.’ (Surat al-Jumu‘ah: 8)
A believer is aware of the temporary nature of the life of this world. He knows that our Lord, Who gave him all the blessings he has enjoyed in this world, will take his soul whenever He wills and call him to account for his deeds. However, since he has spent his entire life to earn God’s good pleasure, he does not worry about his death.
No self can die except with God’s permission, at a pre-determined time... (Surah Al ‘Imran: 145)
The verse above clarify the concept of destiny as God's perfect creation of all events past and future in timelessness. God is the One who creates the concepts of time and space from nothing, Who keeps time and space under His control and Who is not bound by them. The sequence of events which was experienced in the past or which will be experienced in the future is, moment by moment, planned and created in the sight of God. For God, past, present, and the future are happened and finished.

Again, religion does not take away the fear of death.

A personal relationship with Jesus will release one from the fear of death. Why? Because anyone who is "in Christ" has already died - we were crucified with Christ.

Its the peace that goes along with assurance that where ever you go you know who'll hold your future. But religion doesn't take away fear, it's Jesus.

If you know that when you die, you will be in Heaven with your Lord and Savior, then death means little. It's a matter of trust that things will work out properly.

Do we want to die? No. I know I do not as I have a wife and child, but I believe that if I die, that God will take care of them.
