FACTS:
1.Our teeth should be differently shaped in order to cut the meat.

2.Our gastric acids would be as strong as the ones of a carnivore, to absorb all the nutrients.

3.Our intestines wouldn’t be as long, since all great carnivores have it short in order to get rid of the toxins faster. (meat do decompose faster/worse than vegetables, its just that it have lots of preservatives and colorants). In the other hand, must animals with a vegetarian diet have long intestines in order to absorb all the nutrients, since their gastric acids are not as strong… you can see that there are some that even digest their meals more than once…

4.Our nails would be sharper and stronger, if we were to be having meat as our main meal.

5.… what does a bull have for meals?? Are they weak?? … eating a bull doesn’t transfer their strength…. or meat!!! (as I read above)

6.By eating meat you are more likely to get ostheoporosis, since there are elements in the meat that make your bones wear out, by that i mean that people literally pee their calcium.

7.You should tell those people that in the long term your decision is wiser…
a.Yeah, we are ALL of F..cked up with all the transgenic and lack of control over the conditions and place in which those seeds are planted.
b.Yeah, earth is becoming less fertile worldwide (believe me, I’m not in USA)
c.But an animal is not hurt in order for you to eat… I’ve seen reports on genetic modifications to improve the mass production in Israel, such as lack of feather, nails and beak.
d.and in the other hand, you are not absorbing all the chemicals they get those animals to grow fast with.
e.and you are not absorbing all the bugs they have inside, including mad caw, etc. (by the way the mad cow disease started over twenty years ago, or at least that is as far back as we can track cases… it started with stupid eager farmers feeding their animals with dead animals)
f.and you are not absorbing all the chemicals/antibiotics to get those animals to survive with.
g.And finally, just as we could all, in a future... go into a world crisis because the water is not potable anymore, the trees have all become transgenic thanks to good mother nature and pollinization, same.. or I’d say worst!!! Would be to be starving as all of us with the addition of a disease that has no way of being controlled because it has been chemically fortified by the alphabet of antibiotics and hormones that are in the meat.

Bonus:
1.I grew up hearing that as little as seven almonds a day could give me the amount of protein I could get from the meat.

As long as you don't base your diet on your favorite vegetables only, you'll be just fine. Amino, anti oxidants (... is that the way to spell it?) ... I'd say there are too many extremist in both currents.. just respect, and make yourself be respected... it is a choice, a philosophy of life.

2.Meat eaters tend to have more cholesterol and heart problems. Vegetarians live longer.

3.Meat eaters should check on their diet just as much, even though must of them, don't care much and are not selective at all

4.www.themeatrix.com

5. yes it's harder to get the iron in a natural source. but you should have a good balance in your meals, have the honey for the royal queen bee, something great that comes from sugar cane we call "melaza", if neither of the last two, then folic acid and finally morning sun bath

not as long, and much easier to answer in my language, hope it served for something...

It is very VERY difficult to maintain the proper balance of amino acids in a vegetarian diet. Without doing this, the diet will cause you to get sick. Most vegetarians aren't even aware of the issue, let alone eating correctly.

Note that this is a best case scenario....your diet will allow you live eating it. Even with the correct balance, you will NEVER be able to maintain a rich supply of certain amino acids and some other nutrients. You will always be on the cusp of starvation with regard to these and your system will be weak because of this.

This is a multi-factoral issue but the gist of the problem is this. A healthy person could stop eating for a few days with no ill effects. A vegetarian can't. They have no reserve of many vital nutrients. You could write a whole book on the organic chemistry of the issue. What is happening is, the vegetarian constantly runs low on certain nutrients. When he runs out (which happens constantly), the body switches to a different method of doing whatever it is the nutrient was used for. These processes get th job done, but cause disease.

A good analogy is twinkees. What would happen if you ate nothing but twinkees? Would you immediately starve to death? No. But would you be healthy? Absolutely not. And you wouldn't live very long either. It might take you months before you croaked. But you WOULD die. And you would get very very sick before then.

Same thing with most vegetarians. Just much more slowly. Vegetarianism is bad. Just not as bad as an all twinkee diet. Unlike a twinkee diet, you CAN survive on a correct vegetarian diet (you must be strict about this). But, you will never be healthy or strong.

Also note that there is a large wacko community trying to cover up these facts. The facts about vegetarianism are absolutely not in dispute by all people with knowledge and authority to speak on the issue. They lie and pretend elsewise. Your health is very much in danger from these people.

It isn't bad. It's good! I have been a vegetarian all my life. I am now in my early forties and I have only been ill once! I am strong & healthy, and no innocent animal had to die for me to achieve that. In fact statistically vegetarians live longer, healthier lives because we consume less fat. Keep your iron levels up with green leafy vegetables and happily...red wine! You absolutely do NOT need to eat meat to get protein, there are dozens of sources: pulses, cheese (but watch the fat content) Tofu, Soya...the list is endless. Get a good vegetarian cookbook and you will eat better and more healthily than meat eaters. By the way... I have never met a fat vegetarian!

The Chiropracter who responded doesn't know the difference between a vegetarian and a Vegan!

That is an old myth. Long ago meat producers and stuff tried to make people think it was unhealthy to be a vegetarian. THere were rumors that you had to be "SO CAREFUL" to 'balance your protein' and stuff. People even learned this in school even though it wasn't true. So many folks still think that. Obviously it's not true that being a vegetarian is bad for you in any way.

I dont think it is bad because being a vegetarian means two things, you have respect for animals or you just want to eat healthy.
It is not bad because most foods contain most nutritional needs then sacrificing the life of an animal.
Second, It is complicated because it takes much preparation to meet your dietary needs.
Third, it depends if you totally a vegetarian or your tolerant on some foods such as cheese or milk.

Being a vegetarian is not necessarily bad. But without animal products (milk, meat) your body doesn't get some of the amino acids (the building blocks of your cells) that it needs. I do know that you can get most of them by eating types of legumes (beans). Soy beans, I know are a good source. Nuts, cashews and such are another good source of amino acids and even some necessary oils.

Actually, it is not bad. You need to make sure you are still getting enough protein though. I've noticed that vegetarians seem to be a lot healthier than us meet eaters.

Human beings are meant to be omnivores, it's really hard to get all of the nutrients that you need exclusively from plants. Most vegetarians don't take the time to learn how to get all their dietary needs met.

No its not bad, but some people who start off stick to only veggies which doesn't give you all the iron and protein that you need in your diet. It just like with any aspect of eating, everything in moderation and make sure you cover the basis eating the vitamins that your body needs.

Ummm...it's not...??? As long as you are eating things that will replace the burgers, such as beans and stuff, being a vegetarian is not bad. Just like eating bacon isn't bad, as long as you are eating celery, too.
