My cat does the same thing, only she usually waits until we are all trying to sleep before she does it. The only thing we can figure out is that she likes the acoustics in that room as it amplifies her meow's and makes it louder for any cats outside to hear.

Does he do it while you are in the shower? My cat does. He looks at me like,"Why are you covering yourself in that stuff," and meows incessantly. Of course, he also attempts to pop the lid of the toliet open to drink the water, even though he has three water bowls in the house and one outside.

Why do people go in the shower to sing? Maybe she likes the sound of her voice??? Is there something else that happens before or after she goes in there and meows maybe she has associated with moewing in the bathroom to something that happens after??? Has she made an association with food does she get fed before or after??? get attention??? etc?

turn on the faucet just slightly. he may hate water, but will drink it. I have two cats that i had to get a running water bowl cuz they won't drink water from a regular bowl and they love the faucet.

Maybe your cat has flees or mites. Our cat used to love water when she was a kitty because it got the flees off her, but now she wont go near water.

he would perfer to drink from running water, the sink running water. Let it drip fast and see if he wants to drink from it...then that could be your answer. We had to get our cat a fountain to drink from because he likes running water and always tried drinking from the sink. They say cats need a whole whole lot more water then us.

He's probably thirsty. Cat's are smart. They know where the food and water come from.

My cat likes to hop up on the toilet seat and drink out of the toilet. Maybe your cat wants to try it.
