There were actually two, Enoch and I think Elijah. It is believed that they are to be the "witnesses" described in the Book of Revelations.

Hebrews 11:5 says "By faith Enoch was translated, that he should not see death, and was not found, because God had translated him."
Note that according to the dogma of the Roman Catholic church, Mary, "having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory."
