come there are Christian Husbands and wives that look at pornography, masturbate, commit sodomy, and other acts? This is all immoral and seroius sin that leads to hell. Could it be most marriages are built on lust and not love? Most marriages do not come from God and have his blessing. Christian marriages are called to be holy. These sexual sins are wrong. Practicing sexual Abstinence periodically should be a healthy part of most marriages.

Lusting after your husband/wife is immoral and wrong. You are supposed to love your husband/wife and not see them as piece of meat for selfish gratification and pleasure. Love is from God, Lust is from the devil.

longneck242002: because we are sinners is not an excuse. We are called to be holy and can live without lust.

I'd agree with you. But I think you're generalizing the whole christianity...cause...not everyone DOES have God as their foundation for their marriage. I mean...God is love...and if God isnt' in the relationship...then neither is love. I think instead of throwing so much at christians...generalize more in terms of...humans. Yeah...we all sin...but it's still the person's choice to truly start a relationship with God in the center...and yes...looking at porno, masturbating...sodomizing...and w/e other fornicating act...IS sin...and should never be commited by anyone...not even married couples. A healthy relationship sure..has sex..cause God created it not only for having offspring....or recreation...but also being a pleasure. He's good that way. Why change it?

Oh...dude...I DO suggest you not try to correct people so much. It's not right to just tell people what to do. You gotta explain what God has to say...the Bible says everything we need to know. Try not to argue with people...that just causes more disruptions and arguements. I agree with a lot that you're saying...but preaching is not about rubbing people's beliefs in their face...it's about showing them respectfully the truth. Follow Jesus's example...

Im wondering if you care to share some of whatever the hell it is youre smoking.....

Truth be told, the reason there is so much lust in Christian marriages is because your silly religeous ideologies ask that you ignore the very urges that allow for the procreation of man - sexual intercourse. Its a sin to have sex, its a sin to masturbate, its a sin to commit sodomy....so what does that leave you??? Deprive yourself of sexual interaction with another person, and your mind is left with no other alternative than to LUST after it.

It might do us all a little good to remember that, no matter what your personal religeous ideologies might teach you, we are all animals. All animals have instincts - man is one of the few that possess enough intelligence to have time to devote to thinking and philosophizing. It is this THINKING that has led to religeons and beliefs that things such as sex are immoral.

Might I also remind you that your very own Church - the Catholic Church, finds itself embroiled in a massive scandal involving the sexual predation of children by your own PRIESTS! The very men that tell you that these things are sins are practicing them on your children?!?!? I supposed you blame Satan for turning those men against you....but surely your omniscient and all loving God wouldnt allow this to happen to young innocent children?!?! What kind of God is that?? However, had these priest been brought up in a differing atmosphere that encouraged the clergy to marry and have children, perhaps your priests wouldnt be such perverts.....

Its depravation of sex that makes your marriages so full of lust.

I agree with bloodless_lady...

The same reason that it's in so many "non-christian" marriages... Either lack of knowledge about the things that they are doing is wrong... God's not the base of their marriage, or the lust factor.. they lust for those things... so.. then that makes them Religious.. they just go through the motions.. or go to church on Sundays.... NOT true Christians.. which is... Christ-Like...

Masterbation a sin if your husband or wife is not involved. It says in the Bible that you belong to your husband. and that your husband belongs to you. So pleasing yourself is a selfish lustful thing to do. Sex was created by God for a Husband and Wife to share and to draw closer to eachother.

The bible says not to hold yourself from one another... it doesn't mean if you are sick or something.. it means... as I take it... not to use it as a tool of manipulation.. like post people do today...

GOD CREATED SEX TO BE A BEAUTIFUL AND ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT OF MARRIAGE.

1st CORINTHIANS 6:18-20
FLEE FROM SEXUAL IMMORALITY. ALL OTHER SINS A MAN COMMITS ARE OUTSIDE HIS BODY, BUT HE WHO SINS SEXUALLY SINS AGAINST HIS OWN BODY. 19 DO YOU NOT KNOW THAT YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WHO IS IN YOU, WHOM YOU HAVE RECIEVED FROM GOD? YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; 20 YOU WERE BOUGHT AT A PRICE. THEREFORE HONOR GOD WITH YOUR BODY

The Bible tells you to enjoy your spouse. They are there for your pleasure. To lust after others is a sin, but we all have sinful nature.

WOW..
WOW,, I UNDERSTAND YOUR POINT AND WELL TAKEN, BUT IF A MARRIED COUPLE ENJOY SEX.. (CAN'T THEY)? LOOKING AT PORN, WELL
IT MAY NOT BE A REAL "HOLY' THING TOGETHER, BUT IF THEY ARE TOGETHER, AND ONLY WITH EACH OTHER, AND THEY LOVE GOD, I THINK WITH PRAYER AND TIME, AND THE FORGIVENESS OFFERED TO AL OOF US, THEY WILL GET IT RIGHT,,
I AM CURIOUS WHY YOU KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT MARRIED CHRISTIANS, AND THE SEX LIFE THEY HAVE.. DO YOU PEEK? GOSSIP? INDULE? NOT OT O OFFEND YOU, BUT I THOUGHT THAT WHAT GOES ON "BEHIND CLOSED DOORS:" IS PRIVATE, AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE CONCERNING YOURSELF WITH THIS, AND REMEMBER "JUDGE NOT"
'
SO, HOW DO YOU KNOW SO O MUCH ABOUT SO MANY CHRISTIANS SEX LIVES ANYWAY?

I wouldn't say that it's Christian's in general. Most people are so ignorant these days of what the Bible says, and pay much more attention to popular culture.

It is because most people do not understand what true love is. They also do not realize it is these actions that are making them unhappy.
Often they think these things are helping their marriage but they are dead ends.
