Fat = 9 cal/gm
Carbs and protein = 4-5 cal/gm
But be careful with the carbs. Sugared, sweetened and refined stuff can be very carb dense and not very satisfying.

you gotta watch out for the fats - 9 calories per gram. Alcohol is next, at 7 calories per gram. But this doesn't mean much, because alcohol is a liquid and mixed with water. so how many grams of alcohol are you consuming in a drink? after that, protein and carbs (both simple and complex) have 4 calories per gram.

fat is the highest in calories per gram with 9, but it's still important to get a balance of all things and remember that works for your best friend might not work for you if you're trying to watch what you eat.
