I know you don't beleive in God, or religion and all that stuff, but do you think "the person" Jesus lived?

I believe there is a high likelyhood that a man name jesus exhisted and did much good in his time, just like i believe in the doctors of today who do good.
Now as to him being some holy being, that I don't quite believe in because it doesn't make alot of sense to me, just as I wouldn't believe in a doctor brought a corpse back to life.
(not talking about people who are legally dead for a few minutes because that happens somewhat often with today's science.. I mean someone whos really dead.. REALLY REALLY dead.)

Up until recently, I never doubted that he existed. I assumed he was another philosopher that made his mark, etc.
However, recently I learned about Mithraism, which was a religion that predates Christ, and tells basically the exact same story. I was rather amused to see it, actually. As far as I can tell, now, Jesus was just as fictional as God. He was simply another name given to an even older pagan character from Persia.
It's really amazing that facts like this have been swept under the rug for so long. I mean... that's really friggin' amazing!

There are actually some people who don't believe in God or that Jesus even existed but who call themselves "Christian". This makes no sense, but it is the ultimate end result of the slippery slope of Protestantism.

There is no credible evidence to suggest that anyone like this ever existed. Everytime there is "new and exciting proof" like the shroud of turin or the James Ossuary, it's shown to be a fake shortly thereafter.
He is a myth, just like god.

I think Jesus existed and was an important teacher for humanity. I think the Bible stories were written over time by many people and have important lessons for people. To me though, they are just nice old stories.

Well, if we look at all of the records that report he did exist, it is probable that he did. I can't be certain, but I don't think he 1. Performed miracles 2. Was a white man with flowing brown, thin hair.

Jesus was a genetic mutation towards the next stage of mankinds evolution. Unfortunately his chastity prevented future generations from benefiting from his miraculous DNA.

Yes, they believe many Jesus' existed... one of them was just named Jesus of Nazareth.

i believe a teacher named jesus lived. i also believe that in an effort to spread his teachings, his followers embellished a lot of the things he did in order to win converts. as with most legends there is always a basis of truth to them.

They may believe he existed as a man or historical figure. I'm not 100% sure though.
