You can get a special shampoo that will take the chlorine out. Do that first before putting anymore color on your hair, plus don't put color on the hair that has already been colored, just do your roots every month and don't over lap the color. I had the same thing happen to my long blond one time,it turned pea green from the chlorine.

Chlorine will not fade out of your hair, once it is on your hair shaft it coats it and is there until your hair grows out. The only way to get rid of that green tint is to go to a salon and have your hair toned or you can color over it but it's best to have a professional do this. Good luck!

when you wash your hair try washing it over and over at least 4 times with the shampoo then put some conditioner...that should remove mostly anything that damaged your hair, then wait about 4 days to re dye it..when you dye it do not use a semi perminate color so it wont do another retarded thing to it..try to be easy with your hair at this moment because it is very delicate

the best way to wash out green - you can gently remove the color by mixing 2 table spoons of baking soda with i cup of water and apply it to her hair. leave it in for 3 to 5 MIN and rinse it out.

I believe that they sell products at Sally's Beauty Supply to get rid of green hair. My hair turned green before and I just dyed over it.

hi there,
you really need to go to your hair dresser at once, they will proberly strip your hair of the colour you have in at the moment then dye it for you please dont worry too much they can sort it out just go as soon as you can so they can get rid of the damage.
to avoid this in future, there is a speacail shampoo on the market esecailly for coloured hair for when you go swimming ask them about it at the chemist i think its about £3.00 much better than wareing a swimming cap. it is to stop it going green in the pool and it proects your hair.

put tomato ketchup on it..honestly it will restore the colour balance and acid mantle of the hair. then see a hairdresser for recolouring as they should have a colour that won't go green again.
