What was Christ's punishment for the 10 pens I brought home from work accidently? Or maybe for a lie to just save someone a bit of embarrasment? I'm not even sure about that God's name in vain thing and what it means, maybe I have done that. Sorry God and Jesus. I think God has forgiven me, how could I find out?

The truth is reality and the acceptance of reality is sanity.
The refusal to accept reality is insanity.
There is ONLY one way to deny reality and that is to "believe".
Therefore to "believe" is a clear indication of insanity.
Further, reality is the true Creator's kingdom by which you can only leave via the path of "belief"(the Destroyer's device).
Yes, i've been saved from the henious lie of an insidious monster commonly called God.
Obviously you are still his victim.
I also was once stupid enough to "believe" in his lie but decided to prove his existance and indeed through logic and scientific verification did prove the existance of the Creator however, the results clearly indicated the real Creator is NOT "God" if anything he is the Destroyer in disguise.
You and others like you have my complete sympathy. Well, except for the fact your cult murdered millions who were wise enough not to "BELIEVE" and you continue to decieve others into their self-demise.
The ONLY things to be believed are lies. Truth must be logically understood.

Christianity makes a mockery of God. At the same time that Christians claim to worship God as an omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent being, they make him out to be incompetent bumbler. Or worse. Simple forgiveness is beyond his capacities. God must "sacrifice himself to himself to change a rule he made himself!"
This is not only an absurdity, it is an essential absurdity. It is present in almost almost all forms of Christianity, and one can scarcely remove it and remain a Christian in anything but name. By definition, all Christians worship Christ - in some form - and most worship him as a saviour.
But what, exactly, is he saving us from? Though it varies from church to church, no matter what they call it, it's God himself. A hell created by God, a world fallen as a result of God's negligence, a separation from God imposed... by God.
"It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being."
- Dan Barker, Losing Faith in Faith
Christianity certainly isn't the first religion to promote appeasement of its gods, and if it were merely another supernatural protection racket, it would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Christians elevate appeasement to the realm of "personal relationship", transforming their religion into a true monstrosity.
This is the type of "relationship" that abused wives have with their husbands, that brainwashed hostages have with their captors. It is known in clinical circles as Stockholm Syndrome. Should it come as any surprise that the cries of the church, "The Bride of Christ" sound much like the cries of an abused wife attempting to protect her husband?
"He must beat me."
"I deserve it."
"He has no choice."
"It's for my own good."
These excuses don't work for human abusers, and they work even less well for God. For if God is omnipotent, he must have a choice. And if we are flawed, we are only flawed because that is the way he made us. (No excuses that we ruined his perfect creation. A truly perfect creation does not self-destruct.)
If the Christian God does exist - and I see no reason to believe that he does - he's not worthy of the name.
And that is the ultimate absurdity of Christianity.

You can't preach fire and brimstone on Yahoo answers.. nobody cares.. and nobody is going to listen... It's all about the facts.. you have to get science involved and proof...
Maybe you should preach that out on the streets.. but it sure isn't going to work here...
I am a Christian/Christ-like. Follower of Christ.... But... this isn't going to work.. just letting you know...
You shouldn't shove it down their throats.. it justs gives them more ammo..
Being religious (going through the motions or just simply saying it) doesn't make someone a Christian.. being Christ-Like does.. the world definition is pathetic.. but good luck anyway...

Hi, my name is Hank.
Yes, I am saved. I did my saving by writing poetry such as this little ditty.
Religion, humankind's worst bane,
For in its umbra, we kill, subjugate and maim.
Getting next to God has nothing to do with what man has created and call Religion. Get a life.
I suggest you chuck all of man's dogmatic teachings, and, then,
maybe you might be able to call yourself a Christian.
