Christian were first establish about 24 days after Christs death. In the same city that they crucified him... They realized that he was the true messiah when he raised from the dead... they had seen him do miracles.... that they had seen the signs and wonders... and had seen that Christ fulfilled every old Testament prophesy. So.. they became his followers even after his death and resurrection.

Christians were underground for a long time after Jesus's death. Despite the Roman's best efforts, they grew to a point where there were major problems between the Roman pagainism and Christians. The issue was resolved (sort of) when Christianity was declared the new official religion of Rome.

I don't think you can specifically state what country was the first christian country. Christianity is a movement that started with Jesus Christ and his apostles who were the first christian followers. Eventually Christianity spread around and became on of the biggest religions.

The first "Christian" as we know it (believer in Jesus as the physical form of God on earth and the Saviour of all mankind) was Saul of Tarsus, who changed his name to Paul, hijacked Christ's message, wiped out his rivals and formed what became the Catholic Church.

I would say Judea. mary the Virgin accepted the message of the angel when she said,"Be it done unto me according to your word." She questioned but she did not resist or fear.her cousin Elisabeth accepted Jesus during mary's visit. The Holy Spirit told her that Mary was pregnant with Jesus. The shepherds watching sheep on a Judean hill heard the message of angels and left their flocks to go to see Jesus. These men did not keep their experience a secret. They believed the gospel or good news of salvation and they received it. Then they acted on it. and spread it (evangelism) Faith is action and those who go to God must believe that He is and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
