According to my electronic dictionary, "CHROME" can come in various shades.

CHROMIUM (the element) is "grayish-white."

Generally, I think, when people say "chrome," they mean something similar to silver.

Highly polished chrome looks like a mirror. If I had to give its color a name, I'd say silver.
