Mark 12 archives Jesus' practise about the resurrection: 18 Then the Sadducees, who say there is not any resurrection, got here to him with a question. 19 “instructor,” they stated, “Moses wrote for us that if a guy’s brother dies and leaves a spouse yet no little ones, the guy might want to marry the widow and performance little ones for his brother. 20 Now there have been seven brothers. the first one married and died with out leaving any little ones. 21 the 2d one married the widow, yet he also died, leaving no baby. It became a similar with the 0.33. 22 in reality, not one of the seven left any little ones. very last of all, the girl died too. 23 on the resurrection[c] whose spouse will she be, because the seven were married to her?” 24 Jesus spoke back, “Are you no longer in blunders because you do not comprehend the Scriptures or the potential of God? 25 even as the lifeless upward push, they are going to neither marry nor receive in marriage; they're going to be like the angels in heaven. 26 Now about the lifeless growing to be—have you ever no longer study contained in the e book of Moses, contained in the account of the bush, how God stated to him, ‘i'm the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’[d]? 27 he's not the God of the lifeless, yet of the residing. you're badly incorrect!” Mary and the saints are alive in heaven in perfected actual bodies, like Jesus' body after his resurrection. be conscious this passage supplies Jesus' answer on your question: some Protestants, like the Sadduceees, are in blunders because they do no longer comprehend the Scriptures or the potential of God. Cheers, Bruce

Yes, read his Sermon on the Mount, it tells us how to treat others-our family, our spouses, and our neighbors-, it tells us many valuable truths about life that don't necessarily involve worship, they just involve common sense.

no. Without God your reward is the here and now. Joy comes from God. God gives it during worship.
