Just got paid today, London was boiling hot so on the way home from work I bought a bottle of Meursault - I've heard about this stuff. In the garden this evening we tried it, not quite chilled enouhg I expect - so thick and creamy, with gorgeous fragrance. So what white wine should I buy on payday next month?

So thats pinot grigio, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Any others? Promise I won't take it out the freezer too early next time.

Yeah if you don't like white wine tell me about your fave red wine. Our summer will be over after next week anyway....

Not sure if you'll be able to get this in London but my favourite wine is Hernder Estates Autumn Collection Riesling. Hernder Estates is an Ontario, Canada winery so they might have an international distributor in London but you'll want to check out their website for availability overseas:

If you can get it, you'll only need to chill it for an hour to an hour and a half. Happy drinking.

I love a good Riesling. It's a nice summer wine, great for sipping on the patio with some friends in the evening.

Pinot Grigio. It's absolutely terriffic with seafood and cream dishes. Full bodied with a wonderful aroma, and not too sweet.

I don't really drink white but my red of the moment is Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon. Mmmmm!!
