We come to your doors because Jesus gave us the command to do so. We are not a cult because a cult follows a human leader and we follow Christ and his father, Jehovah. We aren't trying to convert you, we just hope to share a message that can save your life or maybe just help you learn something new about the Bible that you never knew or couldn't understand. You don't have to pay to join, we have no collections, any kind of money you give is a VOLUNTARY DONATION, and is never forced upon anyone. I would suggest that before you make anymore false statements about us that you take the time to listen to us and what we have to say because then and only then will you know anything about us and what we believe. Have a nice day!

If God commanded his people to spread the word, then they should do it. Otherwise God will hold them accountable for not telling others the truth, and keeping the rest of the world in ignorance. I would expect missionary work to be a key element of every church that claims to have the truth. Why is it that only a few churches actively share the Gospel? If the truth be found anywhere, I would expect God to require his people to share it! By the way, I am not a Jehovah's Witness, but I applaud them for their diligence. It's not easy to share what you believe with others, especially if they don't like you.

1. Because Jesus commanded his disciples to preach the good news of the Kingdom which includes going door to door. We also do it out of kindness. It's good news; a message of hope.

2. You don't have to pay anything. It's one of the only religious organizations that you don't have to pay money to attend and no one passes around a plate or makes you march to the front of the church and drop money in bags in front of everyone.

3. We believe that 144, 000 will reign as kings and priests with Christ in heaven and that there will be a great crowd which no man is able to number will be living on the earth in perfect conditions under the rule of God's Kingdom just as it states throughout the bible.

If you don't want to talk to them and you aren't interested in the free literature then just tell them and they'll leave.

For the same reason that the Mormons, the Presbyterians, the Baptists, the Muslims, the ----- (fill in the blank yourself) do: they are trying to score points with God. (If God gives a s--t about any of this, he hasn't told me.) In the meantime, post a sign on your door: If you want to talk about religion, GO AWAY.

They continue their attempts to convert others for much the same reason that other denominations do, to build their church up. Why else? The larger their congregation is the more they are self justified.

They feel that they have the truth and they want to share that with others. We may not agree with them or even want to hear their message, but I don't think it's fair to condemn them for wanting to share their happiness. I also don't think it's fair to call anything you don't like or don't understand a "cult."

Because that is how they are taught to be. They are the more assertive denomination. Even though it might work sometimes, it's not the right way to go about a ministry.
