Why do people (christians of course) always gotta assume that atheists are gonna eventually find "god" before there about to die? Its just more ignorant assuming on the part of them. I almost died once and not once did i say "god" this or that, i just told myself if i die now i'm not gonna exist anymore so make a decision now cause its now or never. So christians, STOP ASSUMING AND STOP TELLING OTHER PEOPLE WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN OR WHAT THEY WILL EVENTUALLY WILL BELIEVE IN AND GET A LIFE AND KEEP YOUR BELIEFS TO YOURSELF. Why you gotta be so ignorant and assuming?

There's no need to shout, love, we can read you just fine.

No one should assume anything about your life, but then I would make sure that you are not doing the same.

I am not a Christian, but if there is one thing I've learned in life, it is do not judge an entire religion based on a few of its people. This is equal to prejudice and racisim, just in a different way. I spent many years as an atheist, hating Christianity, when I realized that a few bad apples does not make the whole bunch rotten.

It is also possible that antagonizing the situation is not likely to help. I think if you will open yourself up to honest, healthy and respectful debate, you will find that most people are willing to do the same. Regardless of what you believe about God, open your heart with love. There's no need to be so angry.

If you think that Christians are all about this, then you are wrong. Ive been a Christian my entire life and never pressured anyone into making a decision because i know that i am not the one to change them - the Holy Spirit is. I will go now because i know you are probably getting sick of this, but there is a lot more stuff you should know. But i dont want to tell you i website because you might think that i am "telling you what to believe in or what you will eventually believe in"

o and by the way, i do have a life!

And why keep my faith to myself when it is the most important thing to me in the WORLD!

God Bless you!

God always gives a person the opportunity to ask for forgiveness before he dies in one way or another; however, a person can live his life for so long without God that when it is that person's time to die his heart can no longer hear God's voice. I am a Christian but I don't assume that an atheist will find God before he dies. I only pray that he does.

Why don't you start by acting as an example? Instead of telling Christians what to believe (that you want us to think the Great Commission of Christ, which tells us to share the Good News with others is false), you could *gasp* keep it to yourself and not post here! First off, you act on the assumption that God does not exist, and thus the Great Commission is not the direct order of God. We, however, act on the axiom that God does exist, and thus the Great Commission is the direct order of God. We listen to the infallible God, rather than fallible men.

We say those things in hope for your benefit, that Christ's light may shine on you.

Wouldn't you rather live your life as if there were a God, and die to find out there isn't, than to live your life as if there is no God and die to find out there is?

I assume nothing about Atheists. I always hope that they will find Christ, but I never assume they will. That won't keep me from trying or praying that they reconcile themselves to Christ, but I assume that they will remain stubborn and die never having known the wonderful relationship they could have had with God. It's okay though, because I love them for who they are and for standing up for what they believe in. It's admirable.

I was in an accident in 2003 and almost died. The LAST thing on my mind was worrying about some magic spook in the sky.
I made sure my will was in order and that my affairs were set but I did'nt waste a single second on some imaginary sky-fairie.
And that will go for when I die too.
God is imaginary, nothing more.

It's your choice to believe or not. I don't think anyone is forcing anything on you. I'm not ignorant or assuming and I believe as a personal choice I made years ago. You just seem to have a bad attitude about people who believe differently from you. I have a life and I do keep my beliefs to myself. Why don't you?

The reason we share our beliefs is because we know what is in store for Unbelievers and we are trying to get you to see the "Light" before it is too late. We love unbelievers and want them saved. That is why we share our beliefs. As Christians God also commanded us to share so we won't stop. We were commanded to continue till the end of time. We know that this sounds hard to believe but giving your life to Christ not only saves you in the after life but it will save you from today's world as well. God Takes care of his children and like it or not you ARE his child. Weigh er or not you ACCEPT IT and ACT LIKE IT is up to you.

I consider myself a believer although I do not attend church and I certainly can't quote any biblical scriptures except for one. Matthew 7: Verse 1 "Judge not less thou shalt be judged". For some reason that one stuck with me. Anyway, I think many of us that believe in a higher being either in God or another have a hard time understanding the thinking process of a person who doesn't believe in anything bigger or greater than themselves.

this whole question is ignorant.
One thing you must understand. is A christian tries to live in hope, faith, love. Now not all Christians do this. As surly there probably Atheists out there who look for God.
ps. Never know when a seed will turn in to a christian thats my hope. ;-)
