Are you attracted to him? Do you have anything in common with him? Can you be friends with him? if not then let him know that you guys are not on the same level, or that you are not attracted to him. But if you guys get along good and you are just worried about what other people think, then you should go out with him. Who cares what other people think. he just might show you a good time. Acting silly and wierd making you laugh. You never know he may have a brilliant mind and be some one some day like Bill Gates or some millionaire.

First, do not base your answer on the fact that this person is "stereotyped" as weird. It may be that you would have a great deal in common and really like each other.
Base your decision on what you feel and not what others might think if you accept. Love can come to us in many ways, and if you like this person, take a chance!

Have a "Meet and Greet" with this person first. Meet up at a coffee shop and open a dialogue with him. If everything goes well, then say yes. don't worry what other people say or think. He might not be so wierd after all. chances are, he isn't.
Remember, open communication is the key. It builds trust.

If you like him go for it! As long as you're happy, forget about what others have to say. If you don't like him, just tell him the truth. Tell him that you think he is nice but you are not interested in him like that. You sound like someone who don't like to let people down, but in this case, just look at it as you being an honorable person telling the truth.

You can try it but dont embarrass him like making fun of him and remember what you say about someone they will always find out. If you really really don't want to go out with him then say your nice and all that but I can only see us as friends and hope you can still be friends and remember he could turn out to be really really nice and treat you like a queen so I would go for it.

. tell him your always up for hanging out as a friend and who knows maybe you might think he's not so weird and actually get to know him and think he's great. if you don't like him then just tell him straight up that you don't have deep feelings like that and want to be his friend. you have got to be honest with him because if you drag it on he will think there's hope
