Yes, not eating their products might send a message to those companies. But I we should all focus on what we CAN do rather than what we won't do to solve a problem.
I think contacting these companies and telling them that you will only return to their restaurants if they stop their encrouchment on the Amazon would also be effective, if not more so. Also, spreading awarness (which I think you are doing and thank you) is very important.
Never think that you can't have an impact people!

Absolutely! McDonald's and KFC both have a reputation of being America's favorite fast food, but both company's should be shut down for their irresponsible business practices. The effect they have on the enviornment, terrible working conditions, marketing to children, and providing little or no nutritional benefits in their food are all good reasons to stop eating at these establishments.

Soy does grow in the amazonas, it sure is source of much paperwork and distress, yet helps nutrition and no animals yet complained on its absence. Now KFC uses ingredients provided in the countries they are, MCD does use soy yet it is cheaper there not insuficient. Be attentive resources are to be consumed, and while some will miss Daisy or Martha, I tell you I prefer to have eaten those cows than entertain the idea of eating groceries and manure for a living. Ever thought of that. You suck, green evildoer.

I don't eat at McDonald or KFC. I find the food at these places very unhealthy, at point disgusting. If you don't believe me, just try to read to nutrition information on a BIG mac or a bucket of fried chicken.

In a world of fast food, a few people eating less of this product is not going to make a difference... it needs to be done on a much larger scale...
Personally I never eat at those places anyways...

When Chuck Norris was denied an Egg McMuffin at McDonald's because it was 10:35, he roundhouse kicked the store so hard it became a Wendy's.

I would eat less and would try to let the customers be more aware of what is going on in the amazon because of what goes in the food that they love to eat. LIKE putting it in their ad and making sure that it is said in all of their commerical, and on the trays that the food is put on and in the bags that the food is sold too, maybe reading what goes on people might try to help the amazon not try to destroy it........

I eat less but we need to stop eating other fastfood places unless they are US beef. Most beef comes from Argentina. They chop down the rainforest for grazing ground. I like to eat heathy.

yes. I hate soybeans. I never ate those things before, and thanks for your warning will not do it in the future.
I am also glad Greenpeace finally got itself together after getting their butt kicked by the French. Looking forward for more entertainment.
