I have an odd work schedule in which I work most weekends and some evenings. I only work about 20-25 hours so far which is a big improvement on what I was getting. An employee quit so I got a few more hours after 3 months of employment. When I talk to guy online and he asks if we can meet sat or sun , for example, I have to tell him that I am working or that it will have to be in the morning, etc. Guys seem to get the idea that I amworkin full time and puting in a lot of overtime too, when in fact, I'm pretty much just working part time. It doesn't matter in the initial stage of meeting a guy because most are one date wonders anyway , but when I meet the right guy, how to I bring up the fact that I don't work all those hours and I don't make enough money to even pay my bills? I never told anyone I work alot, they just jump to that conclusion because I work weekends and get off at 9 at night (I don't go in till 3 though). Also when should I bring it up?

When you finally do find the right one, be honest with him. If he is really the right one he will be there for you.

Just say, "Right now I'm working part-time, but the hours are really weird, and I'd like to get a full time job with more normal hours." That should cover all the bases. It will explain why you work evenings and everything else.

I hope you're not thinking that a guy would only be interested in your because you work lots of overtime and therefore must be making lots of money. For me, I don't really care how much money a woman makes, as long as she is capable of taking care of herself.

If you really like the guy, you should be honestly to tell him your situation. You should tell him that your working time is a temp. situation. I am sure you can make spare time to have a date.

So, in next time when you meet him, try to make some small talks and bring up your work situation.

Good luck
