As much as you can. Your body will expell what is not needed.

A normal person needs at least 8 glasses of water a day. So if you work out and run daily then your body is losing a lot of fluids. I suggest you try to get the required 8 glasses ad an additional 4-5 glasses for the period of your workout. This can be in many forms- whether bottled water or other sports water. Just keep hydrated.

There are lots of debates on this subject. People love to quote 8 cups a day, but it honestly depends on the person. The newest expert guidelines say that "other" drinks still give hydration to the body, and it takes 3 or more cups of coffee before there is a duiretic effect on the body. The most important thing is to drink EVERY time you are thirsty, and get mostly water rather than soft drinks or coffee. If you are running for more than an hour, you should have a sports drink to replace your glycogen stores and help you run longer before your muscles fatigue.

I have heard this lately: Drink the amount of ounces that is half of your weight. EX: If you weigh 100 pounds, drink 50 ounces of water per day. I don't know what happened to the 10-8 ounce glasses a day, but that is the newest recommendation that is out there now. I could be 100% wrong and I would look it up just to make sure. Good luck!

Weigh yourself before and after your run. Replace the fluids lost in the run. This is in addition to the 5-6 pints of water that we should consume daily to avoid dehydration.
Tip: Drink small amounts of water throughout the day to avoid dehydration.

i drink close to 50 oz just when i workout (1-2 hours)....so if you run and workout daily, i'd say drink around 100 oz of water. it seems like a lot but it's not that bad..especially since you run and workout. you need to replace your body's fluids somehow. imagine drinking about 6-7 bottled waters a day.
and i doubt you can drink too much. you'll just be going to the bathroom very often if your body has too much water.

about 64 oz a day
don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water... if you're thirsty you're already dehydrated
while exercising drink half cup to a cup of water every 15 to 20 minutes.
