I think that people put "faith" in man's words because they sound cool and they wish they said them.
Sometimes the things that people say are a true reflection of who they are. When JFK said his famous "Ask not what your country..." speech if reflected what kind of person he was inside. On the other hand, most presidents hire people to write their speeches for them so they sound intelligent.

Ever drive across a bridge? man built that bridge. Ever drive over a hill and assume that road keeps going on the other side? man built that road. You use faith everyday dear. People believe in God because He saves them! He changes lives everyday!! I trust the Son of God to save me, that is where my true faith lies! Best wishes.

Hi, thats true, however, quotes are usually mans way of expressing his opinion to others based on experience. It doesn't hurt to learn something new even if you don't except it.
