Prayer is simply a conversation between you and God. as long as you are talking God is listening, formally or in a P.S.
The thing to remember is God is not rude so God wil not interupt you. To hear God's answer you have to shut up sometimes but not leave the room (meaning stay in a mode of prayer mind fixed on God)

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
He hears you all the time. He hears everything you say, be it good or bad. The Amen doesn't stop Him from hearing your words.

Yes God hears everything you say.
Amen is actually a term of agreement, and also used in place of so be it.
God just wants you to talk with him like you do your best friend, there are no words that you must say at any time.

Prayer isn't a telegraph system. God knows exactly what we are saying, at every moment. So, you don't have to organize your prayer like a letter, because it is an actual conversation you are having with God.

God hears everything, thoughts and prayers, so even though you may have forgot something and wanted to say, "Oh yeah P.S. blah blah...." He already knew what you were going to say. Isn't He wonderful.

You are a funny dude. Yeah...God still hears you even when you arenot praying. But when you pray, He is wise enough to get it all even whats in your heart that you don't say.

Absolutely. Amen just means Truth. Pray as much as you like whenever and you don't even have to say Amen. You could just say "Thanks God, catch ya later." or whatever. There is no formula to prayer.

Yes. God hears all prayers, regardless of how said, when said, by whom or whatever language.
It's just sometimes He doesn't answer right away or says No.
